The Compassionate Couples Series - I
(The Enneagram and Couples)
The Enneagram of personality is at the foundation of this group. This series helps an individual to recognize their strengths and challenges, which in turn increases self- awareness, compassion for others, and improved communication. Level one will cover the basics of the Enneagram and the typing of each person. We will cover the connecting points and the instincts, which then takes the couple deeper into understanding themselves and their partner. We will cover the 5 most common Intimacy Blockers and identify which ones you use. Also, we will cover the basics of communication with the introduction of the Feedback Wheel and it’s application. The Level I groups sets the foundation for deeper examination of a couples functioning and health that will be addressed in Level II.
The Compassionate Couples Series - II
(The Enneagram and Couples)
Level II takes the couple deeper into their unique relationship. We choose partners in life that challenge us to grow and become fully functioning adults, acting from a place of a functioning adult rather than a wounded child. We will cover the 5 Steps of Differentiation and how this plays out in your relationship.
The Compassionate Parenting Series
(The Enneagram and Parenting)
We use the Enneagram of personality for the parents themselves and also to identify what style their children may be. The object is to increase understanding of your own behaviors and reactions as well as those of your children so as to create a more harmonious environment that promotes healthy emotional well-being and development.
This group will focus on honoring the feminine through mythology, archetypes, and alchemy. We will use the creative arts to find different ways to honor the divine self as well as experiential activities that enable the physical nature of the female to shine. Women grow in community with other; we will make use of our natural relational qualities to grow emotionally, intellectually, and spiritually.
Men in Grief
(For men who have experienced death loss)
This group is for men to grieve with other men. Our society does not support healthy ways of grieving, particularly for men. The form of grief most men take is to “buck it up” or work endlessly, stuffing the pain and loss, which eventually shows up negatively in other intimate relationships, substance usage, and/or physical distress. In this group we will explore the ways men grieve and mourn. Also, we will create a space for men to openly share their pain and find healthy ways to mourn the loss of their loved one.
